Forcing the agent download

The status "Fault – Missing Agent" may be shown as the application status in various places in the EAC and may be caused for different reasons. Generally, the fault is due to a failure during agent installation on the device.

To resolve these conditions, install the application again selecting the Force Agent Download, as described in the following steps.

  1. In the Group tab, select the All....Devices group.

  2. In the Device Group panel, select the Applications tab.

  3. Click the number in the Fault column for the application that has faults you want to resolve.

  4. Filter the resulting list of devices to show only the devices with the Fault – Missing Agent status.

  5. To install the application for all of the devices, click Install Application.

    or

    To install the application to a single device, click the ellipsis menu () for the device and select Install Application.

  6. Select Full Install.

  7. Select the Force Agent Download checkbox.

  8. Select the same version of the application as previously faulted.

  9. Select Install.
