Retrying a failed job

Retrying a failed job allows you to attempt to complete a previous, incomplete task. For example, if you tried to install an application and the job was interrupted, you could retry the job to avoid selecting all the same installation options. All utility roles that could perform the initial action have permissions to perform this task.

Use this procedure to retry a job that did not complete successfully for any devices that display a status of Failed.

  1. On the Jobs / Job page (displays details of a single job), click the Devices tab.

  2. Click Retry Failed Jobs.

  3. Click the job name (for example, Uninstall or Update).
