Displaying usage information for applications and versions

Displaying the usage information for an application allows you to check the status and version of that application across the entire device population. All utility roles have permissions to perform this task.

Tip: The information on this page automatically refreshes every four hours. To manually retrieve the newest information about the application, click Refresh.

  • On an Applications / Application page (displays details of one application), click the Usage tab.

The following fields or columns are displayed:

  • [Licenses] issued. The number of licenses issued.

  • [Licenses] used. The number of issued licenses consumed.

  • [Licenses] available. The number of issued licenses available (not consumed).

  • [Licenses] requested. The number of licenses requested but not yet issued.

  • [Usage] total. The total number of application instances installed and running, installing, or installed but not running.

  • [Usage] installed. The number of application instances installed and running.

  • [Usage] installing. The number of application instances installing.

  • [Usage] not running. The number of application instances installed but not running.

  • [Adoption] version. The version of the application.

  • [Adoption] status. The status of the application version. For example, Rejected, Retired or Published.

  • [Adoption] installed. The number of application version instances installed and running.

  • [Adoption] installing. The number of application version instances installing.

  • [Adoption] not running. The number of application version instances installed but not running.

  • [Adoption] adoption rate. The percentage of application version instances installed and running, installing, or installed but not running compared to other versions.
