Export file format

The XML export format contains the following general header information:

  • Creation date and time (in the time zone that is specified by the following time zone field)

  • Time zone parameter or UTC time stamp if exporting using service point time zones

  • Directory and file name

  • Export template name

  • Correlation ID. The correlation ID is a unique identifier. For example, a CIS can create a correlation ID to track transactions between IEE and the CIS, particularly for Billing and 13 Months of History requests and responses. The correlation ID can also be sent in a readings export request and will be returned in the readings export.

The information for each exported channel consists of the following:

  • Channel header

  • Start time

  • End time

  • Time zone

  • All data with status
