ARM emulator (emu-tool)

The Arm Emulator provides an environment that is nearly identical to the Itron meter environment. Using the Arm Emulator, you can run the exact same DI agent code that you build for the meter. Unlike host simulation, which uses an x86_64 host processor, the Arm Emulator emulates the exact same CPU and memory that is on the Itron meter. The emu-tool is used inside your DI agent development directory. For example, if you are developing the ThirdPartyReferenceAgent, then you should be in that directory when you use emu-tool.
