Fixed Network

The following information applies to Fixed Network:

  • If the Network Performance Application (NPA) is tracking collector and repeater deployment, then you can import collector and repeater data through the MDI baseline file. Otherwise, use the MDI configuration file to import collector and repeater data.
  • To use the NPA or the Network RF Performance workbench of the Network Administration Application (NAA), you must import a baseline file. The baseline file is also required for creating device groups within NPA. Groups are useful when monitoring the network's read performance and reliability.
  • The ServicePointId must be preserved when you replace an endpoint on a specific meter at a specific location.

Note: Itron Analytics does not support use of the following special characters: `,~, %, &, @, $, ^, *, (, ), +, and = for the following attributes:
